At Test - Create quizzes, we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information through our app.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Android app “Test - Create quizzes”. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from within the app (e.g., Google Play).

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may process the following:

• Account data (Firebase Authentication): email, UID, optional username and profile photo (if provided).
• User content: quizzes you create, upload, share, and any prompts you submit for AI features (if enabled).
• Usage and diagnostics (Firebase): technical identifiers, error events, response times, App Check (client integrity token), IP addresses, and timestamps.
• Ads and measurement (AdMob): device advertising identifiers, impressions, clicks, and anonymous metrics. You can control ad personalization in Android settings.

Sensitive information: Do not provide sensitive information in prompts or content (health, biometrics, financial, children, etc.). If we detect such information, we may delete or block it to protect you.

3. Purposes of processing

• Provide the core service: authentication, quiz sync, and cloud features (Firestore/Storage/Functions).
• Provide AI features via third parties (OpenAI/DeepSeek or others), generating educational content from your prompts.
• Manage subscriptions and benefits (Google Play Billing) and detect abuse.
• Show ads (AdMob) and measure performance in aggregated or pseudonymized form.
• Improve the app (technical analytics, performance, UX) and keep it secure (App Check, anti-fraud controls).
• Operational communications (incidents, plan changes, expirations, relevant updates to Terms/Policy).

4. Legal bases

• Contract performance: providing services you request (accounts, cloud, AI under your actions, subscriptions).
• Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and continuous improvement.
• Consent: ad personalization (where applicable), optional profile photo, non-essential communications.
• Legal obligation: compliance with applicable law and lawful requests.

5. Providers and recipients

We share data with third parties only to operate the app under their own policies and agreements:

• Firebase (Google): authentication, database (Firestore), storage, Cloud Functions, and App Check.
• Google Play Billing: subscription and purchase status verification.
• AdMob: ads and pseudonymous/anonymous metrics for monetization and measurement.
• AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, DeepSeek): process prompts/text submitted to AI features to generate responses.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and compliance with Terms.

6. International transfers

Data may be processed/stored in countries other than yours. We implement reasonable measures to ensure adequate protection (provider agreements, encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, pseudonymization where possible).

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures: HTTPS, secure auth, App Check integrity validation, least-privilege access, event logging, and anti-fraud controls. No system is 100% secure; if an incident occurs, we will notify as required by applicable law.

8. Ads, analytics, and user control

• AdMob: may use the device advertising identifier to show ads and measure performance. You can reset or disable ad personalization in Android settings.
• Privacy preferences: some features (e.g., ad personalization) may require consent. You can change your choice in the app or system.
• Additional tracking: we do not do cross-site web tracking in the app. If you visit our website, the website cookie policy applies.

9. User content and archiving

• Ownership: you keep ownership of quizzes you create. By publishing, you grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store/display them in the app per your visibility settings.
• Public visibility and account deletion: if a quiz is public, it may remain visible even if you delete your account. In that case, we remove or anonymize identifiable information when possible.
• Plan limits and archiving: if you exceed plan limits or your subscription expires, some quizzes may be automatically archived. Archived content is preserved but cannot be edited or shared until limits are restored (e.g., renewing/upgrading).
• Unarchiving: when you renew/upgrade, we may automatically restore quizzes based on objective criteria (newest first).
• Archived retention: archived quizzes may be retained for up to 12 months. After that, they may be permanently deleted to control infrastructure costs.

10. Retention

• Active account: we keep your data while your account is active and needed to provide the service.
• Account deletion: when you delete your account, we delete your data and private quizzes. Public quizzes may remain in anonymized form for community/educational purposes.
• Technical logs: logs and metrics are typically retained up to 12 months unless legal/security needs require longer.

11. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
• Request deletion of your account and data (with possible anonymized public content retention).
• Request data portability in a structured format.
• Object to or request restriction of processing in certain cases.
• Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis (e.g., ad personalization).

You can exercise these rights in the app or by emailing support@simpletestapp.com. You may also file a complaint with your local data protection authority if applicable.

12. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we collected data from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will indicate the effective date and, if changes are material, we will notify you in-app. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated policy.
